Years back, I used my Beretta 92 to defeat terrorists who had taken over a high rise where my wife's company Christmas party was being held. Or maybe I just saw that on TV.

Best Christmas as a kid was the year I got a Remington 572 Fieldmaster. Thousands of rounds and 43 years later, I still have it and it makes a trip back to the range at least once a month.

My daughter reference above just texted me. She expects to have her CCW in hand early next week. Christmas is coming ...
We got to the range today. After shooting several of the guns in my carry rotation, she decided she liked the Kahr PM9. It is now hers. Ammo under the tree on Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas, y’all!

Sorta gun related, many Christmases ago I found that Santa brought me a toy submachine gun like Vic Morrow used in Combat. Many a Christmas tree decorations became obvious targets. Hoping all have a blessed Christmas with family and friends in celebration of He who is the reason for all seasons. I also wish the very same for any who do not celebrate Christmas as well.

Christmas Day, 1967!
Me and my two brothers woke to rush into the living room to discover what Santa brought.
My younger brother being 6, immediately grabbed the first toy he spotted. My older brother just sat on the sofa taking it in. I spotted something standing up in the corner near the tree.

I asked WHAT! Is that, and whose is it!!!??

It was a Mossberg 346KA .22lr bolt action!
My mother said that’s my present for the three of you!
I’ve never been the same since!

That afternoon me, my older brother and my Dad went to a rock quarry where we disposed of a whole box of .22’s. We didn’t care that the front sight was broken and with the rear sight elevator al the way down, it still shot a foot high at 25yds.

My older brother spent 24yrs in the airforce as a security police, then worked as a contractor for company doing industrial security for DOD till his death. I had a career in law enforcement primarily a conservation officer.. My younger brother still works in Las Vegas and big game hunts Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

Definitely the most impactful Christmas present We ever got!

With that bedspread, and rocking those puffy shorts, I think he's gonna be a Glock fan.

Now, you know I'm just kidding!
Congrats @jagsHousehold ! The best gift ever! (Even if he grows up to be a Glock fan)

Glock? Nah !!!!

Give him a cigar, a 10gallon hat , and a S&W M29, he’ll look just like Elmer Keith !
About the same height and disposition, to! LOL!

(Btw, I’m a fan of Keith, read all his work, and met him once....)
