Here's an oldie from my 7.62x39 Carcano. Saukville 100 yard range using WWB 123 grain FMJ. Nice overcast day with a light rain.

The White box grouped really well, but the Federal SP's were all over the place. Including one dud out of six. You can see the pulled round in the second pic.

BTW, I've found that the pistol targets are much better than the 100 yard sight in targets when using irons. I have fairly good eyesight, and it's still a PITA to find a consistant point of aim.

Well-used 1988 Sig P220

Draw from concealed IWB and fire 32 rounds of 230 gr FMJ .45 ACP in 38 seconds from 10 yards (reload x3) into standard B-27 target:

I know, I know, I need to speed up.

I posted these in another topic already but here goes...

Thought this group was pretty good, until I looked at this thread. I can cover this with a quarter, but not with a dime like some of you. This was a 3 shot group, from 100 yards

Shot this group on Sunday with my Ruger M77 .280 It wears a Leupold VX-I 3-9X40 scope. :

The Ruger was fresh out of the box, I had never fired it before. I shot about 10 rounds to sight it and to break in the barrel. Then I shot the above group. Next weekend I'll try my luck at 200 yards

17 Mach2 at 50 yards.

This was shot from benchrest at 50 yards. with a Hall-actioned 17 Mach 2 with Shilen barrel. The ammo works best if you sort for run-out with a Nielson concentricity gauge. Groups at 100 range from 0.4 to 0.8.

This group is about 0.1" center to center. :D

Rifle built by Stan Ware of SGR Custom Rifles.

Here's my current best score on the LFI qual from concealment:

I think I am going to make up a replica quarter, that's about 3" in diameter

owen,
Thanks, that gave me a much needed bellylaugh this morning, especially as I have a big metal replica penny on my desk that is 3" :neener:

You get 'em from magic supply places. Shown here next to real pennies.

I'll play!

This is from my first trip to the range with my new G30 last Saturday. 25 rounds at 15 yards...

I think I'll keep it! :D

Using a kimber custom II at a little over 30 feet. Those houge grips really do help with recoil.

20 rounds, 75 yards. Weak hand, free standing. At night. All shot in double action. Took 15 seconds with reload.
