Trying to catch up with all Back orders and who knows answers is becoming a helpless race :banghead:. Anyone from Illinois or Wisconsin Close boarder that has any Unique, Accurate, W231. My powder stores are gone and it seems like everything is gone. Thoughts or answers?

I'm finding you are not alone. I've been searching PA &NY and have talked to a lot of retailers and most pistol/shotgun powers are rare or nonexistent 231 and bullseye are the latter. I've found green dot, h110, herco. No lil'gun, no clays, no blue dot. And no idea when any will arrive. I've have found most rifle powders I use and primers are available but prices are 30-50% higher. 22 bullets are coming back but mostly hornady, no Sierra or Nosler. Hopefully this will pass soon.

Its dried up for now. Buy primers, everyone is flush with them. Brass and bullets seem plentiful now as well.

When the powder returns, the primers will probably dry up!:banghead:

I'm thinking about trading 22 ammo for powder. 500 rounds for a pound? I've got a list of 8 powders I could use, none of which I've been able to find, and I always seem to miss the alerts by an hour. Too bad I can't figure out a load using H50BMG....can't swing a dead cat without knocking over 20 jugs of H50BMG.

Seriously, check out recobstargetshop.com. I also just ordered some unique, blue dot, bullseye and trailboss.

Thanks for all the Help gents, good to see the help hate that we have to go thru all this trouble to practice and enjoy our past time. Damn Shame

I read an article somewhere the other day that said powder is gonna be difficult this year. Ammo makers are having some trouble getting it as well. We can't find any green dot. No red dot. No super field. No super target. IMR4064.... The guy actually laughed at me. Lol. I did get some imr4895 though. Now if I can get some number 5 and LVR

IMR4064 is the one rifle powder that I've been able to find time and time again. My local Cabela's seem to get a shipment of it every month or two.

I just bought Bullseye, Trail boss, and h335 last week at the LGS. It is there, just have to be one of the first guys in the door. If you wait until 4 pm it will all be gone.

IMR 4350, 4064 are around here on the shelves and that's about it. Found some H335 last week and grabbed a pound. Cant seem to find anything else locally though.. Frustrating!

It seems like the second wave to me. People stopped looking and stocks replenished a bit, then they discovered there was powder on the shelves again and bought all the stuff they could find.

I'm kicking myself for not buying an 8lb jug of 2400 when I saw it back in February. I thought I had one, but it turned out to be a 4lb jug that was half empty.

I noticed that Wideners has some Accurate powders in stock, and show 2700, 4064, 4350, Lt-32 and a few others, and they are good substitutes for the other similar brands, but you need to use Accurate's data.

I didn't check for the other brand's availability.

Recob's sent tracking number for the Unique, looks like I called in time for once!

Local place has Unique for $27 lb. Recon after hazmat shipping if I found some online, that isn't too bad of a price and since its available I might as well grab a pound.

My LGS gets monthly powder shipments and they always have 4064 and at least 7-10 other rifle powders. They get a lot of accurate powders as well. I just scored an 8 lb keg of 4895 that is in the old tin. The powder is gtg and it was not badly priced at all.

Bullseye and Unique have been around but best to pick up if you see them. There is a pretty steady supply of 2400 too.
