pre-ban AR or post ban

Whats the differants between a pre-ban AR (befor 1994 )and a post ban AR ( after 2001 ) price wise and the rifle itself ?

The pre-1994s are likely to be more expensive because (I believe) if they are already registered in a AWB state then they can still be transferred.

Don't quote me on that, though. I live in FL, where we can own either (for now).

Guitargod1985 has it right.

One other thought - Ban-era guns (from 9/94 to 9/04) may be slightly cheaper in free states because they either have noise makers permanently attached to the muzzle or they have a naked muzzle. Either way it is at least some trouble and expense if you want to put a flash hider on it.
