Another poster made the comment about what the revolver is missing. No box, no tool, no factory stocks (grips).

Those factory speed loader cutout grips are $150 at least.

Which is why they're not on the revolver. Dealer pulled them off, and sold them separately.

Which makes the revolver overpriced - at least around here.

Na. This dealer didn’t pull the grips. We’ve been friends for a long time. It came in with the VZ grips. Of that, I am certain.

CA has a weird pricing. I had my 586-3 at $750 and nobody called except the low ballers wanting it for $500. The revolvers guys that looked it over said I should be able to sell it easily at $800. The general (new) buyers aren't willing when they see a newish 686+ for the same price. I eventually sold mine at $650. The one dealer offered $375 and he said he'd sell it at $750. The $650 is much better than $375 and $500 yet off what the revolver guys had waxed about prices..

New ones seem to be 850 low and 950 plus tax high here.

That one doesn't have a lock or mim etc (probably) but I'd be wary if shade tree gun smithing or trigger jobs etc. Definitely check it out.

If it's good to go I'd be in at 8.

Na. You’d be out at $800 because this dude is stuck at $950. Lol
