Things are still a bit high here, in my opinion.
I think the prices will remain about where they are here until after everyone who's going to spend any tax refund they may have on weapons has done so. Then, after a period of selling a lot less than they were, I think retailers will let the prices start gently slumping back to normal. Maybe a few more months along, and we'll be in good shape?
And by in "good shape", I mean I, for one, will be kicking myself in the @$$ for having bitten off on a couple of guns that I knew were a tad overpriced. At least I also did get what I thought were some decent deals in the same buying frenzy...
As a complete tangent - in the last 6 months, how many totally new gun owners do you think we picked up? Nationwide, I'll bet one million people who were previously unarmed remedied their respective situations.
