We picked up our used Ruger MkII target that we bought on gunbroker a week ago.
The serial number shows that it was built in 1999 and it's the stainless target model with a 6 7/8 barrel.
I took it apart and cleaned it. Inside the chamber prior to the barrel are a lot of scratches. Is this normal?
It is tough to cock the pistol. I can cock it and it dry fires and everything seems to be normal but the effort to cock it is much higher than I have experienced with the MkII we have been renting at the range.
How do I make sure everything is okay?
Thanks
