I need some sage advice. I have a 44 cal Redhawk which I purchased about a month ago. It came with Fire Sights on both front and rear. I also hand load and presently I'm shooting 240 SPSJ over 20.5g of 2400 for the magnum cartridge. The problem is it always shoots high. The rear sights are down as far as they'll go. I ordered a different front sight, which was .030 higher than what was on there but it still shoots high. I'm about 2-3" at 25 yards over the bullseye. Varying loads will change the POI but it should shoot on target with the 240g bullet. Any ideas guys or do I need to contact Ruger and have the original sights put back on?
