Ratdog...what was the problem with the Pietta 1858 Bison? I thought that thing was brand spanking new.

Daggum, my Uberti 1858 had to go back to Cimarron because of barrel alignment problems. :banghead: Of course I got back a much more expensive replacement so I'm happy about that. :D

Now my Pietta 1851 Navy had to go back to Cabela's because of the unremoval wedge from hell. :banghead: Hopefully, they'll send back a keeper.

I'm just wondering why these manufacturers are sending out problem firearms. Maybe I'm just picky because I want my barrel to be aligned or I want to actually remove the wedge. :cuss: So, about that 1858 Bison?

Yup... hope ya get back keepers. Frustrating to have to send something back before it's even got fingerprints smudged onto it.

Your still wating on

that 58 Bison ! Good grief , that been like forever Ratdog68 ? :banghead:
We need to get together when you do get it and go thump some targets and have a 58 Bison target killing festival together one of these days , targets losing of course :D I just hope they send you a new one , not try to fix that lump of brass blunderness ? Regardless , you'll love the accruracy level of these longer barreled Cap and Ballers :D

Yup... ordered in April, received it in June, sent it back... and should find out today whether they tried to "fix it" or whether they (at the least) put a new frame on it. They're supposed to call me today to advise... supposedly, it'll be done this week.
