It's amazing in it's own way. Five policemen shot and brave EMT's pulling the wounded out of harms way under fire. A detail where obviously dangerous drug dealers are being watched. Yet the chief of police is worried about firearms. So while this may be a bit of thread drift- let me say for the record... Thank God, for the EMT's bravery and that none of the policemen were killed. My prayers for the wounded men and sincere thank you to the squad that took these two dangerous persons off the street once and for all.
Item last, a shotgun is not an assault weapon. For that matter, an AK-47 or an M-16 is not an assault weapon- unless there are assault people holding them. To paraphrase Shakespeare: not in our weapons, police chief, but in ourselves.
