Calling all CZ owners

97B, or get my favorite CZ a good trigger job that it sorely needs.

I shot a tuned 97 once...first shot at 20 yards was dead center. Next shot...within an inch. I proceeded to empty the magazine chewing out the center ring. Amazing. I can do that with my 75 but it takes more concentration.

A stock CZ-97 is pretty awesome. A tuned CZ-97 is much better. You really can't make a bad choice in the CZ line. Here's my SP-01 converted to .40 and my "tuned" CZ-97 -

Well now it looks like I have three buys to work for.

#1 97B
#2 P01
#3 75 (dunno what model but I really want the SA)

I've looked at the 83's, the stainless duo-tones are SO pretty, but ATM I can't put it on the list... :)

I only have one CZ, the CZ 75 P-01, but it is one of my favorites in my collection. Ergonomics are great, 100% reliable, and accurate.

I think you HAVE to get a 75b.

This is not my picture but it's a picture of the Satin Nickel finished 75b. My NIB one is arriving at my FFL tomorrow! :D

I used to own a Tanfoglio TA90 in satin nickel and I always wanted to pick up a gun in that finish again. It's sooo nice.

The 97 and 75 PCR should be on the list. I think everyone should shoot a 97 at least once. Once you shoot one, you become a believer. I started my CZ collection with the largest (97) and recently bought the carry cz (75 PCR). Absolutely no regrets. Makes me glad I bought my 97 when I did. I got it NIB with tax, 2 boxes of ammo, and a free range pass for under 550$ :)

If you don't have a CZ-52 you're just screwing around. You know, as in something the size of a PPK that will shoot through cars for .$10 a round? Pretty much starts there for the letters 'CZ' if you ask me...

I used to own a 2075 Rami, but the thing gave me a ton of trouble with FTF's. The CZ 75BD I used to own had a funky problem with the trigger/hammer. Sometimes the hammer wouldn't drop when the trigger had been pulled. I know of CZ's reliability and reputation. However, I'm going to chock it up as just happening to get two of the unusual lemons that can be found by any manufacturer.

That said, I'm very excited about the newest CZ coming to join my other pistols, the CZ P-07 Duty. :D

I do want another CZ 75. However, my next one will be the CZ 75B SA. :neener:

I have the 75 with the full size grip(full cap) but compact slide forget the name of it.....I really like that set up, was and is(but wont be)my only CZ, shoot like a dream

You have the Semi-compact. I have one as well, but it has not yet been shot. Waiting for it to cool down a bit before venturing to the range.

Don't leave out the P06 - if you like the P01, it's the same thing, just bigger bullets :)

Seriously - I have a 75B and P06 and love both. For a compact .40 it's amazingly accurate and has no significant recoil to me. Under-rated, but a really sweet gun. If you get the chance to try one you won't be disappointed.

tekarra: Cool down? COOL DOWN? They shoot faster when it's hot.
Get out there and shoot.....:fire:....;)

I also have a semi-compact. Like the way it is big, but small...........

I am working my way down. A compact is next on my list.

Wishoot, I know, I know....I've always felt like a traitor by picking up the SP-01 first..

Deerhunter, 97B is extreemly attractive, especially because I don't own a .45 yet.. What gets me is the extra 100$ price tag compared to the smaller caliber CZs....

How big is your wallet? :D

Don't feel bad, the SP-01 lured me into the CZ world. Now I own it and a CZ-75b. Plan on owning a 97 if I can ever hold one to make sure it fits my hands.

Funny, I always had you pinned as a CZ guy. Every CZ guy needs a standard CZ-75B for the collection. Go with stainless, the nickel plating on mine sucks. The finish on my SP-01 is great and I wouldn't change it, but I wish my 75B was stainless.

Get a pre B once you aquire a couple more, just to round out the collection. Can't beat the original.

Sell that 5-7 and get 2 CZ's, there are alot to collect.

The nickel finish on yours sucks? Why is that? You're the first person I've heard say that CZ's satin nickel finish sucks... Most reviewers LOVE that finish.

You don't have the SA yet? Get it and fall in love forever with CZ. I am serious you will love that gun.
