Well guys, I'm getting the itch to pick up another CZ.

I'm a CZ addict, I'd love to own them all, but for the moment I'm trying to decide on just one to purchase.

I currently have:

75 SP-01 (Steel frame)
2075 RAMI (steel frame)
10mm Tangfoglio witness match clone

The models I've been looking at are:
P01
P06
97B
Classic 75B
75 SA
and of course, the new one the P07

So the question is, which to get?

I've been reading scetchy reports about the P07 not being as accurate as previous CZs, is there any truth there?

Other than that I would like comments from owners as to what they carry, and why they picked the model.

Currently I carry either my SP-01 in a OWB Cowhide holster from highnoon, it can be a little bulky sometimes. Or I carry my RAMI IWB with a stocking item Highnoon holster, I'm not overly fond of manul decocking this little bugger.

So convince me, which CZ is the perfect carry gun for you, and maybe for me?

P-01 or P-06 is the perfect all-around CZ made right now.

A superb track record with both CZech police and USA
concealed carry.

Kind of represents the best of both worlds.

Compact for carry, but nearly as accurate as the full-sized 75B.

Plus, the gun works as well as any CZ ever made. They just don't
break down that often.

You can say the same for the PCR. A gun that is also a shooting machine.

-The P-07 Duty remains unproven but many are liking the
$160 less price tag.

On the other hand. If the RAMI fits you, the newer BD version with decocker might just be the perfect carry gun for your CCW needs.

You guys make a very convicing argument for the P01.

Maybe I'll have to find a way to get the P01 AND a 75B :):)

Wishoot, I know, I know....I've always felt like a traitor by picking up the SP-01 first..

Deerhunter, 97B is extreemly attractive, especially because I don't own a .45 yet.. What gets me is the extra 100$ price tag compared to the smaller caliber CZs....

I absolutely love my new P-01. It fits my hand perfectly, and even though it isn't very important, its a very good looking gun. I have only shot it once, but it performed flawlessly through 264 rounds. I also shot better with it than any handgun I've ever shot, even though it was my first time using the gun.

Deerhunter, do you feel the 97B is more accurate than the traditional 75 series?

Really depends. But honestly I have always been more accurate with the 97B. There's a guy over at the CZ forums that's turning it into a bullseye gun.

How is the size of the 97B compared to a G21sf?

I've got my first CZ on the way (a P-01) but am already considering the next.

I love the .45 so the 97B seems like it could be the one.

The CZ 97 is a big pistol. Size wise, I think your Witness Match is right in the middle between the CZ75 and the CZ97.

The one I'd chose is not on your list. The CZ-75D PCR. Its similar to the P-01 but without the light rail.

P-01 absolutely first on the list.

As soon as your wallet recovers from that,

97B.

Love the CZ75SA:

Thsi one is a little bit tricked out with action work and better sights.

Japle: I like your polish job on the bbl.

SsevenN: With your SP01, you've almost got a 75B(+) and you've almost got a Shadow (---).

Sure wish I could afford a Shadow.

Possibly the best shooting CZ is the 83. I just acquired one and it's fantastic.
Having said that, my CZ75b stainless is SWEET. As someone said, the 83 shoots like a laser and has no real recoil. Has a fine double stack mag that holds around 12 cartridges. Lots of reliable firepower in a bit smaller package (which makes a huge difference when carrying). The handle is fat, but the barrel to the handle is pretty thin.

Perhaps the highest praise is that they are extremely beautiful, and they shoot up to their artistic aspirations.
