Question about Florida non-resident ccw...

I'm in Illinois (no CCW here) and am trying to understand this. Does it mean I can apply for a Florida ccw and if approved I can carry in any state that Florida has reciprocity with?

Yes.

For the most part. There are a number of states (Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, New Hampshire and West Virginia) that wouldn't recognize your Florida permit because you aren't a resident of Florida.

Some states only honor reciprocity if you are a Florida resident.
