I pulled a couple hundred of these Berry jacketed round nose bullets. As you can see from the attached photo, it left a crimp indentation in the jacketed material. I would like to reload these. Does anyone see a problem trying to reload these?

They will shoot fine. I wouldn’t use them in a competition as their minor damage could have an effect on performance.

Good Luck

If you swaged the diameter down with the case, accuracy will be worse.

With a micrometer, you can measure just above and below the crimp.

plated bullets don’t have spectacular accuracy to begin with but if the base is swaged too small, they are even worse. That said, if you have enough neck tension for them to stay put, they will still all load and go bang.

Like everyone stated , they are still usable. Just a friendly unwarranted tip. If you are using an inertia bullet puller I like to place a couple of foam ear plugs at the bottom to lessen the possibility of deformation as well.

You also don't shatter your bullet puller ! !

I once bought some pulled bullets which turned out to be a little undersize, 10mm. The case tension was frequently not sufficient. I gave them a slight squeeze in a bench vise then sized them. Not really worth the cost savings. Use smooth jaws, crosshatched indentations on the bullet nose are funky.
