Question abt 44 mag

I recently purchased a ruger super blackhawk: I know I can shoot any 44 mag and 44 spl rounds but I heard 45 long colt too! Is that true?????

NO!...Fortunately for some a .45 colt will not even fit in a chamber for the 44 mag so don't even try... Chief

You can shoot the .44 Russian cartridge, but you can't shoot any .45 caliber cartridge.

Nope, you can't shoot the .45 Colt in a .44 magnum but unfortunately the .44 mag shell can be fired in a .45 Colt chambered revolver many times with disasterous results. A Ruger or similar stength gun may not be ruined but a Colt or one of the clones usually don't survive.
