My Kimber Custom CDP is my favorite gun that I own, but I'd like a Rock River Arms Elite with a five inch slide without front serrations to become my favorite.
2nd only to my dear wife ... the love of my collection is what I regard as the archetypal handgun of all time .... the Smith M27-2. The beauty of form and balance, made even better by the 5" tube.
It is beyond infatuation ... this is the 'real thing''!!
My 1st love in handguns is a Ruger 3-screw Blackhawk in .41Magnum I got in the early '60s. It's been a constant companion in the outdoors and has even saved my bacon a couple times. It'll be willed to a nephew that likes good revolvers.
Definately a fan of the semis myself. 1911s, CZs, EAAs, Kahrs, Beretta (and Taurus clone), Glocks, KelTecs. I don't think I've ever owned more than two centerfire revolvers at any one time.
The P 80 I used in the military. I once fired a Desert Eagle .50 in Switzerland, and it was totally killer- but that's no handgun anymore, that's pocket artillery.
