So I was at the gun shop handling a few CZs that I want to carry when I get my CHL. I was thinking, has anyone ever replaced the safety and slide catch of a PCR to the safety and slide catch of the RAMI?

Since they are built on totally different frames and have radically different operating systems (PCR is a decocker, RAMI a manual safety), I find it hard to believe that any parts would interchange.

The 75 Compact has the manual safety and similarly placed slide stop that you want, but being all steel it is heavier than the PCR.

To make it slimmer.

Ah, that's right. Compact, not PCR.

For some reason I thought there was a version of the PCR that was a manual safety.

OK, looking at my own PCR, you could grind down the protruberant parts of the external portions of both the slide stop and decocker while still leaving enough to be useful (i.e., still able to easily operate). They would need to be recheckered or serrated as well as refinished.

That would gain you, what, two millimeters clearance? If that much is an annoyance, lose a few pounds, and the gun will fit better. :)
If ultra slim is what you need, you might look for a non doublestack sidearm.

I run triathalons. Don't think my weight is an issue.

In either case, I was simply wondering if anyone has done this before.
