My LGS has 5 old dusty as heck boxes of 30RemAR on their shelf and they only reason I know, is because I was surprised to see Remington boxes and asked them what they were and I was like wow that's interesting. So it's pretty much 300 Black Out but not. 125gr soft point bullet at close to 7.62x39 velocity. I bet they would give me a fair price on them as I don't think anyone else know what it even is. Hmm, now I'm getting a very bad idea for a new build... Thanks a lot man...
I find that strangely........ tempting.Khyber Pass "Enfield" Martini Hotchkiss Special....that is currently on Gunbroker. Weird gun for sure!

My grandpappy on the day he bought it in 1934 while on leave in Chicago in full double-breasted suit and fedora regalia .... I have the original receipt from the hardware store where he bought it and the letter from Colt as-to its origin and how it arrived at that hardware store.

Airborne Falcon
Very cool; even more so that it's in such great condition and has been in your family for all these years!
Do you know anymore about your Grandfather and why he bought the Colt Government?
