Random Gun Pics...let’s see how random we can make it

Because knifes don't jam...

Its an old LED watch from the ‘70’s. They sucked so much power they only display the time when you push the button, then go back to sleep.
Nice! My Dad worked for TI back then, several of his projects were watches and calculators. Ill have to ask if he remembers that one.
I had a Casio wrist calculator with a full (yet tiny) keyboard. Pretty much neede a pencil eraser to push the buttons.

Two 38shorty, one 38S&W but the other 38 Colt New Police. Wink wink; nudge nudge.

..."Bob's your uncle!"

It was ever so clever of Colt to come up with such a keen bit of cartridge nomenclature!

Sort of like Winchester calling their cartridges in their 1873’s the .38 WCF or .44 WCF, WCF for Winchester Center Fire.

Others, such as Colt, not wishing to endorse the Winchester name, changed them to the .38-40 and .44-40.

Same for the .30 WCF, AKA the .30-30.

Wichita 1.jpg

Wichita silhouette pistol chambered for the 7mm IHMSA Rimmed cartridge.
It's the 30-30 case necked down to 7mm with a sharper shoulder.
The cartridge is way over-bore capacity. It's possible to push 139s to over 2000 fps and 154s to 1900, but the, "sweet spot" for this gun seems to be 1675 fps.
With 139s and 154s and 175s at that velocity I get Standard Deviations of 13-14 and it'll group 2-3" at 200 meters with a scope mounted.
