Looking for opinions on a reasonably priced 22 revolver. Preferably one that can handle S / L / LR. It will be used for plinking almost exclusively, and I'd like to keep it as inexpensive as possible. I have no aversion to buying something used, and would probably go that route for economy's sake.

Thanks!

Most 22 revolvers will shoot 22 sorts, longs and long rifles. A used ruger single six would be a good chose and may also have a extra magnum cylinder. If you can spend more a S&W K22 is a great gun. There are also some H&R and Iver Johnson's that can be found on the used market inexpensively. There are others out there but these are the ones I have had experience with. Good luck : Bill

Heritage Rough Rider.

Its about $200 and mine works like a charm. Its surprisingly accurate for the price.

I've seen the Heritage new in 22lr only go for $130 locally. Zmack frame with a steel barrel and cylinder. I picked up a used one and the finish isn't made to last unless you get the all steel version. Still its a fun gun and always goes to the range with me and my daughter loves shooting it. X

Look at Iver Johnson revolvers, as well as H&R.

There are plenty available (gunbroker and onther places) for less than $100.
