Recycled Lee Mold and Sizer....

Budman I have the mold 90361 which is 160GR TL. I have never used gas checks but I am hoping to start casting for my .308 bolt action rifle (Remington 700) and I think the speeds are fast enough to call for gas checks.

This mold calls for them but I did not use them on my sks loads.

that's the mould; it feeds and shoots well in every .30 or .303 i own without a trace of leading when gas-checked, lla lubed and sized .312". i don't reject a bullet with a wrinkle unless the base is imperfect.

i'm happy with the 100 yd, off-hand, "minute-of-milkjug" accuracy, but i was curious, and got a 5-shot 3/4" group @ 50 yds with a 4x scoped mk4 enfield.
