What is with Freedom group? Tapco isn't well known for making the best firearm accessories, they at best a lower tier product. They make decent magazines, but their stocks, forgrips, and muzzle devices are all considered cheap and flimsy. Remington's reputation has taken a big hit recently because of quality issues, the same with their sister company Marlin.
Does anybody else see this as a not so great idea? I have a feeling that Remington with the very cheapest of Tapco parts will come up with more tacti-not cool, poorly made, overpriced junk. Hopefully they don't move Tapco's production overseas, the only thing that they had going for them was that "Made in the U.S.A." stamp. We need the jobs. I wonder if they will still produce Mini-14 mags and other Ruger parts? Remington making parts for Rugers, now that is wierd.
