Remington Model 11 Shotgun

Hi,

I would like help/info on a Remington Model 11 Shotgun 12 ga,the serial #718,7XX. The condition of the gun is around 85% on the finish, but the stock has been cut and a rubber buttpad has been put on. Any help with the year the gun was made and the amount the shotgun is worth would be greatly appreciated.

You can call Remington Historical directly during business hours and they will tell you. The number is (800)243-9700, just call during normal business hours Mon-Fri. Be prepared to be on hold for a little while.

Yours sounds like a fairly early one; Mine is serial # 130,5xx and was made in 1912. No idea about the value, though.

I've seen two sell lately in the $250 range, and several others that went around the same price.

IIRC, you can go to www.remingtonsociety.com ....at least I think that's the website...and find out when the gun was made.
