I picked up an Ontario Dozier D2 Arrow G10 folder this weekend and wanted to give some first impressions to everyone.

There's no liners so the thing is very very light to carry. So light that you forget it is clipped to your pocket. Did I mention it was light???
The blade is well centered in the handle. The blade is well ground with no unevenness to the grind and came shaving sharp. The tip is centered nicely. The lockup is solid.
The handle if flat textured G10 and rides comfortably in the hand. It feels and looks checkered. The attractive arrow cuts in the G10 are just decoration, but they are nice looking. There's no way you're running your hand up on the blade that I can think of with the aggressive texturing and the symmetric guard design. If you don't like flat knives you won't be as happy with this, but as a folding "boot knife" that carries flat it is pretty good.
I took it out and abused it in some yard work this morning. It will shave hair and it snap cuts light vegetation, but the razor edge on the D2 isn't toothy enough to cut woody vegetation aggressively. It cuts meat and veggies and strawberries cleanly, though and since it isn't designed as a folding camp knife I don't have any complaints. Well, maybe one.
The G10 surface is so aggressive that it will eat your pants pocket very quickly as you clip it in place and pull it. It is as rough as coarse sandpaper and the clip is very snug. This thing won't fall loose even if you're rolling around, but it will also wreck a pair of pants. Luckily, this common problem is easily dealt with with a little clear fingernail polish applied at the point where it will grate on the fabric of your pants.
OKC needs to leave a nice flat spot under the pocket clip contact point to keep from wrecking the owners pants (or from having us buy a bottle of nail polish to mod the thing). <you should have a bottle of good clear nail polish made of nitrocellulose anyway to waterproof strike anywhere matches.>
