Revolver or Auto, one pick only.

I could get by with my highly modified S&W model 65 and my 22/32 pre model 34.
The 65 has a standard "pencil" barrel from a mod 64 installed, the cylinder cut for moonclips, target trigger and hammer fitted. This was built as my anywhere gun but leans more towards a woods gun. Shoots everything from cat sneeze round ball to hellfire 180 LFPRNGC.
The 22/32 is just plain fun.

Since I picked revolver, the third would probably be some sort of SAA in 45 Colt.

This is basically a what three guns you own you couldn't live without question and it's tough, but I had to weigh my three favorites for revolvers and autos and I asked myself could I live without the autos and the answer was yes and the revolvers no, so for me

1. Redhawk .45 Colt/ACP
2. Charter Arms Bulldog .357 4 inch
3. NAA MiniMaster

This reminds me I need to get that Charter sent back for repair.
What he said
But I also have a p320 x-ten and a PMR 22mag I would hate to give up

5" super redhawk - 454 casull
6" gp100 - 357 mag
3" k6 - 357 mag

Never shot a k6 but felt a few and like them.
Boring, right? Could have put a korth & a freedom arms and all that but these are guns that deserve special care. I treat my super redhawk like I treat my old van, squirt some oil around and it's cleanest when its out in the rain.

How about my semi auto picks ?

G20
G30
Mk3 ruger

Boring!
Well, I'm consistent at least- I value utility and durability over most other qualities .

If it were one or the other I'd go with the revolvers because I shoot them best and I'm not very tacticool. I do carry a glock typically though.

Revolver
S&W 686 +
Ruger Blackhawk Convertible 45 Colt/45 ACP
Ruger Single Six (It was between this and a S&W 63) 22 Mag option made me pick the Single Six

I shoot revolvers a lot more than my bottom feeders. Don't have to chase my brass.

Revolver-
Customized Ruger Vaquero in .357 Magnum (woods carry, HD, SD)

S&W Mdl 640 (.357 Mag) no lock (CCW)

S&W Mdl 317 Airweight (kit gun)

Ruger Super Single Six (chambered in.22 LR and .22 Mag rimfires).
Ruger Blackhawk (chambered in .357 Magnum and 9mm Luger).
Ruger Blackhawk (chambered in .45 Colt and .45 ACP).

All being s/s, and having adjustable sights with 4 5/8" barrel lengths.

I want to say revolver, but capacity is king. I'm from CA so not used to over 10 rds. In handguns anyway. So since the capacity us close I'll say s&w r8

Ruger Security Six .357 mag. 2.75"
S&W 36 1.875"
S&W 422 4" whoops I meant a Ruger Single Six 5.5" 22lr/22mag
A couple of pros for a revolver,
1) There is no magazine to lose, a pistol without a mag is a slow loading single shot.
2) If you get your work done with 5 or 6 there's no brass with your prints to chase.

auto's

ruger LC9s
Ruger SR40
browning buckmark

revolvers

4.2" ruger S101 357 mag
5" model 629 44 mag
3" model 63 22 lr

My S101 is my favorite handgun I own so it pains me to say it, but I would have to go with the auto loaders.
