Those of us that enjoy buying and trying out guns that are new to us always seem to have a list of guns that they want. I keep a mental list and if I ever run across one on my list at a good price, I buy it.

I have two lists really, the first list is guns I am on the hunt for. These include Ruger Speed Six 2 3/4" SS .357 mag, Kahr K-9 Elite, Titanium or scandium S&W snubby, Bersa .22lr pistols, and SUG 225.

Some of the ones on my other list are ones that if the mood strikes me, I will pick them up if I can. S&W 3rd gen SS autos, Beretta 9mm, Kahrs, Ruger revolvers, S&W J and K frames, Hi Standard 22lr pistols, among others.

What is on your list? What are you always on the lookout for at every gunshow or gunshop?

Para Ordinance 45ACP (Still undecided on which model)
SIG 40 or 45 cal
Glock ??? maybe
Rohrbaugh R-9
Ruger Security Six SS 357mag w 2 3/4" bbl

That's about it off the top of my head.

Colt Delta Elite
CZ-52
Makarov
Taurus 24/7
CZ-P01
CZ-97
.44 mag wheelgun
.357 mag wheelgun
USP Compact
USP Tactical
.22 autoloader
.22 revolver
I suppose I'll need a Walther P99 aswell..hmmm

I'm pretty happy with my auto-pistols, but down the road I think a nice semi-custom 1911-type would be nice. Dunno who or where to go for something like that, but I've got time to think it over. Right now I'll keep practicing to build enough skill to justify the purchase.

A S&W 625 is on the "definate" list - just don't know if I want the 4" or 5" barrel on it. .45 ACP out of a revolver just sounds great.

Also a S&W 617, because I want a .22lr plinker revolver and that one is pretty attractive.

When I go to gunshows, I keep an eye out for a stock Norinco 1911 and a Colt Detective Special with the 2" fat barrel.

38super Colt

44spl Charter Arms bulldog

A Colt Combat commander would be nice.

S&W 25-5 of some sort

others too but the first two are on top of the wish list.

I had my heart set on an FA 45 Colt but my budget took a hit and maybe it'll happen next summer.

re: what handguns are on ur 'to buy list'

i have a pretty big list

all 3 glocks im buying for sure in the near future. some of the 45s not sure on some of them though.
.1 glock 36
.2 glock 26
.3 glock 29
.4 kimber ultra carry II stainless
.5 para-ordnance pxt 1911
.6 auto-ordnance 1911a1 wwII parkerized
.7 para-ordnance pxt LDA carry option series
.8 para-ordnance pxt LDA single stack series ?= i might buy this one not %100 sure yet
.9 springfield 1911-a1 mil-spec
.10 springfield ultra compact 1911-a1
.11 wilson CQB

Currently have a 9mm auto and .22 revolver on lay-a-way.

Kinda gettin an itch for a big bore revolver of some kind ---a .500 S&W would be cool but the price is a limiting factor-----probably will wind up with a Blackhawk in .45 Colt eventually.

Hmm....
It would be easier to tell you what is NOT on my buy list.

1. Any Highpoint

Scratch that. A Highpoint is not really off the list, it's at the bottom of the list. I mean, if I managed to buy every hangun in the world, I guess I would have to buy a Highpoint. Right?

Hmm... (currently waiting on Les Baer Premier II) :)

1) Les Baer TRS
2) SIG P220/P220ST
3) Kahr PM9
4) S&W Scandium 1911
5) S&W 360 PD
6) Ruger MKII slabside
7) HK USPc .45 ACP
8) SIG 225
9) Older Beretta 92FS Inox
10) Considering a P99 older model if I can find one in 9mm.

A Smith 629 and a Beretta 92 are two I've been wanting for a while. Probably won't be able to swing either this year, though.

CZ-52. maybe.

A smallish .38 or .357 revolver, for "tactical reasons".

A 9x19, because I don't have one yet. If I get the CZ-52, I may get a conversion barrel for it.

Browning Hi-Power or CZ-75

Ruger Anniversary Model Blackhawk .357

Thinking of building a CCO type 1911 in 9mm possibly with a Caspian Ti frame.

Other than those, I'm pretty happy with what I've got.

If anyone want's to forward this list to my wife, my birthday is comming up...

I'm currently looking at a Taurus 650 CIA for my wife. We're moving back home to Dallas and leaving the "security" of living on a military installation and she's expressing an interest in shooting/carrying.

Of course, I'll have to give her some firearm instruction and accompany her to the range but I'm just stoked that she's starting to come around. :D

Glock 17 and/or 19
Glock 34
A nice Springfield or Colt 1911 in .45
A 1911 in 9mm (if I can keep both my arms and legs)

999

Beretta 3032 Tomcat (for pocket carry)
SA MC Operator with light (house gun)

Maybe eventually:
P-38
BHP or XD

I figure I'll be doing good to get the Tomcat sometime next year, the MC Operator a year or three after that. I need to get my hands on some long guns in the meantime- Winchester 1300 Practical Defender, Remington 597, some AK clone, maybe a Garand and Mosin-Nagant too.

Looking for a Smith and Wesson 629 Mountain Gun (.44 Magnum, duh!), a Ruger Super Redhawk (also in .44), a Ruger Mark II or 22/45, some kind of .22 rifle and a .44 Magnum lever action of some kind. Given my budget, I'll just keep prowling the used shelves and see what I spot first. Maybe a .44 first though, my 6" 629-1 is lonely!

S&W 642
Springfield XD-9
Ruger GP-100 3" or 4"

If I get the Ruger I'll probably get rid of the 6" Taurus 66 I bought used. It's quite functional but would be redundant at that point.

I kind of want a Kel-Tec SUB2000 in 9mm in the Beretta mag version so I could share (modified) mags with the XD I don't own yet.

S & W mdl 27 Highway Patrolman 357 magnum.

another S & W mdl 39 stainless 9mm(shouldna traded the one I had)
