I agree with the posters who said they're aren't going to look for them but let them come to them. That's the way I would prefer it too but when your kids bedrooms are at the opposite side of the house it's my duty to have to go hunt them down so unfortunately no waiting here. I'm going to have to go confront the problem.
Win. pump shotgun will be my equalizer. No. 6 bird shot is all I'll need. Like some else said, I love the people in my house, that belong there and definitely don't want to accidently kill them shooting slugs or rifle rounds in the house, which will easily go through drywall and kill whatever is on the other side.
I've seen what No. 6 bird shot does to pheasants (when hit cleanly) even out to 40 yards. I don't think the BG's will like #6s at 10 to 30 feet, at all! I'm pretty confident at that close of range, it will end the fight in orderly fashion, without being overkill.....JMHP
