"Shooting from vehicles is not hunting"
So... by your logic, when it's raining and cold and I decided to go sit in my truck, in my hayfield, and shoot a deer on my own land, that isn't hunting? Gimme a break. "Hunting" is a hobby, a sport, a past-time; not an endurance test. I too have enjoyed hunting for many years, and will continue to do so. I hunt for meat, not for trophies; if that means I have to shoot a deer while sitting in my pickup, then I will. However, I will not break the law to do it. Simply not worth it. Most people would agree with me; some, like you, do not. That is certainly your choice, but it doesn't mean either of us is wrong. I've also been known to ground-swat ducks while jump-shooting ponds. Does that make me any "less" of a hunter? I should think not.
