Might it be possible for one (or more) of you folks to take a couple of photos of your Rossi and post them here for me?
I'm interested seeing what the frame of the gun looks like under the grip. For reference, see this thread: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=307311
As you can see in that thread, a Rossi tech told me that the frame of the 461/462 was different from that of the 877. However, I've got a suspicion that the tech may have been thinking of the older model 68 & 88 revolvers. I hope to be able to compare your photo against my friend's gun and make a determination as to whether there actually is any difference.
So, if someone could help me out with this, I be most appreciative.
