I posted this in the CZ forum site but I guess the traffic is slower there and I'm looking for a quick answer so I can get this started today.

I just got a new 75B, my first CZ, in stainless a few days ago. I have read that CZs are pretty rough inside and mine seems to fall well into that category also.
On the barrel where the serial number is and on the opposite side it is pretty ground down from riding the inside of the slide. The part of the slide where
it slides on the barrel is very sharp and jagged. The barrel looks like it was sanded down with 200 grit sand paper.

My question is how much can I remove from inside the slide to smooth it out. Is it possible to take too much and have fitment issues(a loose barrel) at all?
Also, is there anything wrong with polishing the whole inside of the slide while I'm at it? The sharp and rough machining marks inside make me cringe when I
rub my fingers across them. It's so beautiful outside it's hard to believe something so hideous could be hiding under such perfection.
