3/4". By the way, there's no need to "step up" to a supposedly superior rifle after a couple years of shooting your RRA Match rifle. Many rounds fired in competition have dirtied my RRA barrel over the years with no problems whatsoever.

The RRA National Match already has a 1:8 twist to it, which should allow it to fire the 70-80 grain bullets pretty well - will that rifling cause any problems using the normal 55 grain rounds?
Thanks for the input - any recommendations on either the A2 or A4 version?
Rock River's detachable carry handle sights will elevate for 600 yds - - most other brands will not in stock form. The A4 sight needs to have some modifications made to get enough elevation
