I've got a set of Texas grips Mesquite burl on my Ruger 44 special flat top. Haven't shot it a lot but just loaded up a couple of hundred 44 specials and 45 Colt for my USFA Rodeo.
After a particularly bad streak of luck in which I had to put down three of the family's beloved saddle horses in the course of two weeks.

I don't know the caliber of your "magnum", but mine are 41 and 44 Magnums, large frames, both with Bisley grips. The 41 was a conversion using a kit I bought from Ruger. The 44 left the factory as Bisley, later cut down to 6" barrel from 7.5". The Bisley grip was the answer for me to comfort and flinch.I need a better set of grips for my "New Model" Blackhawk. The original ones look nice but they don't fit my hand. Makes it a little uncomfortable shooting magnum loads. Any suggestions?
Took a look at what Texas Grips has to offer: https://texasgrips.com/product-category/pistol-grips/ruger/
I love the color and grain of the Mesquite they use. However, an individual would have to call and find out if the size of their grips is in any way different from factory. The OP must have a large hand, and is looking for wider and longer grips than factory,
It can be very frustrating to try to find the grip that fit your hand.
