Ruger Expands SR1911 Line-up!

Just seen on Rugers site, their SR1911 4.25" with an anodized aluminum frame. 7.1 oz. lighter.

Definitely got me excited when I saw Jeff Quinn review it. The 1911 bug has been itching me really awful lately, pretty soon I will start foaming at the mouth at display cases.

I actually sold my only 1911 (RIA GI) today. I just had to accept that there are amazing guns out there and they're not all for everyone. I'm just...really not a 1911 guy.

But I do like Ruger and the SR1911 has always seemed like a great, great value for the money. Nice that there are more options! That's always great.
