I am like a few others. I would like one of these in 32 auto also. I had one of the early Kel-Tec P32 autos and that little lightweight pistol went everywhere with me. It just disappeared in my pocket and was forgotten about. But I would be surprised if Ruger ever offers them in 32acp. But hope springs eternal.:D

I actually called Beretta, and the customer service representative that I spoke to told me that there has not been any official cancellation of the plan to create a .32 ACP conversion kit.

If I were an instructor teaching elementary pistol shooting to beginners and non-enthusiasts, I would keep one of these around for people who show up with a Ruger or other fleaweight .380. You can't learn much with a gun that hurts you, and a half pound .380 hurts.

Has anyone handled or shot one of these yet? I found them for sale for $285 with free shipping and no CC fees. I am thinking real hard about ordering one of them.

If it is a defensive gun it SHOULD have a safety. Anything that might be carried in a jacket pocket or purse/backpack, etc should have a safety.

Seen the gizmo or widget that replaces the striker plate on the Glock? The idea is to place the shooting thumb on the plate while re-holstering. The plate will hinge away from the slide if there's anything interfering with the trigger.

Or you could just switch the safety on and reholster that way...

My Lil' Sister loves the .380 EZ for that reason. Thumb the back of the slide and it lifts the hand off the grip safety helping avoid Glock (M&P?) Leg when re-holstering.

Great. I hope you get a chance to shoot it soon and post a report. I for one am a real fan of the 22 for a practice and pocket gun. I know the 22lr isn't much in the stopping department but its just so easy to shoot and shoot well.

A SD gun is only good if you actually carry it so a weak round is better than none. I've been carrying a NAA little .22mag, which actually can penetrate substantially.
