Well I got a call from a dealer here in KY about 15 miles from my house. He has one that just came in and ready for me to pickup. I'm on my way on the morning $299.99 !!!!

Picked up my LCP this morning. $298.00
Manufactured 04/15/2008 (Tax Day !)
Didn't have time to shoot it but will do so hopefully this weekend and will provide a range report. I bought some ammo while there. Speer Independence for range shooting and then Federal Hydra-Shok for carry.
I gotta say that when I picked up my LCP I compared it to the Kel-Tec. The fit and finish of the LCP is soooo much more superior to that of the Kel-Tec. It is worth the wait. IMHO

I had to go all the way to Alaska to find a deal on one. Well actually I went to TFL.com and happened to catch Wildalaska posting one for 279 delivered. Combine that with my 20.00 transfer fee and the fact that I didn't have tp pay taxes on any of it and I came out pretty well.

I got lucky and picked one up locally ($299 plus tax) and had already bought 500 rounds of Blazer for $90 delivered.Good news,the Ruger loved the cheap ammo and it seems reasonably hot.I only fired one box of 50,but will shoot more this weekend.I have confidence in the gun and the ammo.The trigger pull is a little long but that is a very nit picky minus for what seems to be a solid pistol.This pistol fits nicely into my pocket battery with a Seecamp 32 and 637 S&W 38 special.

Range Day Today:
All went good. I shot 50 of Speer Independence and 50 Federal Ammo.
I had one of the Speer to fail to load in the barrel ramp and one of the Federal ammo. It was the first and second mag to do this.
Everything after that shot great.
I didn't clean it which it has a lot of lube aready on it. I will clean it real good tonight.
It shot very very accurate at 7 yards. I shot everything in the 8, 9, 10 ring with both eyes open and just pointing and shooting.
Also the recoil is really nothing.
A great pistol and my primary summer carry piece.
