Ruger SP101 pocket carry?

Depends, lots of variables. For me, yes it's too heavy. I carry mine at 1:00 o'clock iwb.

I've carried mine around the house with it in my pocket. I would not do it outside the house though. As others wrote, too big and too heavy.
However, that doesn't mean no one can pull it off. I suggest you go to a gun shop and try one out.
The SP101 is a really nice revolver, great carry gun for OWB or IWB.
