I am in the market for another pistol 9MM seem to be on my list would like to run it as a steel plates and IDPA shoots.
I now use my 1911 45 acp Mil spec gun runs outstanding I was thinking in a Rock Island 1911 frame 9MM.
I would like to go with the SA Range Officer but now I have a budget in the 500.00 range
I was lucky enough to try a Ruger SR9 yesterday at 15 yards striker fire pistol newer version model with the D mag: release button .
The gun shot excellent maybe a 1" to 2 " group two hand un supported a box of 50 rounds .
I also ran it threw a few drill double taping I did find recovery was excellent on target the second shot no problems.
The trigger a little heavy but I did start to get use to it I favor the 1911 frame grip I do not like the Glock XD grip at all .
I also shot a Ruger LC9S wow what a trigger the gun shot ok but I did not like the grip on the gun.
I wonder are the 2015 SR9 have a equal trigger to the LC9S
