I'm hearing some interesting things about new guns to be launched at the 2005 SHOT Show - anyone heard any good ones to add to these?

So far, I've heard that Kahr is to launch a .45-caliber polymer-frame auto-pistol, 6rd. capacity, not much larger than their P9 model. I'm also hearing that Glock will introduce a G23- and G27-size pistol, in caliber .45 GAP. I'm drooling at the thought of a really compact, G27-size gun in .45... :D

Do ya think that if we started a rumor that S.A. will offer the XD in .45acp it woukld make them do it? ;)

Preacherman -

Drool no more. The new Taurus PT145 is smaller than the G27 (shorter length, slightly thinner) and is 10+1 of 45ACP. Had mine a while now, over 1000 rds - flawless. :)

I know for a fact that Marlin is introducing an 18.5" non-ported barrel 1895 chambered in 454 Casull and are doing a special deal with Ruger for the 454 SBH "snubby".

Yes they are. :p

CZ is gonna bring out the 550 in 404 jeffery 505 gibbs and the 450 rigby ... i emailed um other night after i hear rumors and they say yes they are

I have it on good authority that Colt, to compete with the .45GAP, will be introducing a 1911 in their new cartridge - the 9m45. They are taking a 9mm case and necking it up to .45. It will be a reverse bottleneck case. Velocity will be 950 fps with a 255 gr JHP bullet. Lighter bullet weights are planned with increased velocity. They are achieving this velocity with a new powder which will keep pressures under 20,000. OAL will be shorter than the .45GAP which will enable it to be chambered in guns like the Mini-Kahr. Word is that DEA and the FBI have already signed secret contracts to start issuing the round to replace the .40. However, they are talking with Beretta to produce the gun.

I heard the same thing ISP, except for a few of the details. I heard that S&W had a contract to make 10,000 of them for the DEA out of einsteinium, weight: 9 oz.

Kewl! I'd much prefer the S&W einsteinium to a Beretta. I'm going to pick one up as soon as they come out.

Springfield has the XD in .45 GAP, I shot a Tactical in that caliber at an informational shoot.
Smith and Wesson is rumored to offer their 1911 in new calibers and many new options and finishes are to be available through the Performance Center.
I hear that dude from Alaska is going to be showing some new subcompact bear killers,,,,,,

As soon as it hits 1500, it will break...its a Taurus...

That is like me saying that if you haven't had a KB, you soon will because its a Glock. Wait a minute - that's bad example....... :)

Anyways, I have close to 2000 rounds in my Mil Pro without any breaks or KB's.

Drool no more. The new Taurus PT145 is smaller than the G27 (shorter length, slightly thinner) and is 10+1 of 45ACP. Had mine a while now, over 1000 rds - flawless.

You gotta tell me where!! I can't find it on the website!!

No 10mm, no care.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Somebody introduce a new high cap autoloader in 10mm!

An HK USP10 sounds like a winner to me!

I heard the the Beretta/Colt 9m45 joint effort will be called the Colt Multinational because All American does not go well with the Celebrate Diversity craze. The magazine release will be at the heel to accommodate non Americans
