I've put about 2000+ rounds or so on my 910 chambered in 9mm. It's fun to shoot, 9mm is very cheap and I like the feel, however on paper this guns sucks. What's interesting is that Pat Sweeney raved about the accuracy in the S&W chronicles. Now, I'm not doubting that this could very well be my fault but when I look at my paper between my 910 and 686, something may be wrong.
At 7 yrds everything is roughly the same, at 14 the 686 (4" barrel) is on paper beautifully making tight groups but the 910 is nowhere near it. I've used different ammo for it, I've found the Rem UMC's wadcutters work well and are my personal favorite.
One thing I may contribute to this is the trigger pull, but I should be used to it by now, and it's by no means "bad."
Any ideas?
