I have a model 629 that is about 11 years old and needed some work. The timing was off so I called Smith & Wesson. Spoke to a customer service rep on the 11/17/14 and explained the problem. He said he would email me a prepaid shipping label that day, which I received minutes later. I shipped it out on 11/18/14 by Fed-ex and it was at Springfield, MA by 11/20/14. Smith fixed the problem and had it back to me by 12/4/14. Great job Smith & Wesson! Thank you. Would not hesitate to buy another S&W product based on their great customer service.

Congratulations. I'm still waiting on a rear sight for a JM625 damaged during our 2013 Tornado (gun found fifteen miles way). Ordered sight and other parts in Feb, got them in the summer, still no sight.
Also, S&W, owners of T/C, America's Master Gunmaker, still has not found me a choke for the 44 hotshot barrel.
Ruger, however, always has stepped up to the plate with parts, service and turnaround.
