If my model ten only fired 4" groups at 25, I'd trash it. It shoots 1.5" groups at that range all day long with its favorite loads. Pull on mine is about 13 lbs in DA and about 4 crisp pounds in SA. It's very smooth DA, years of cycling. It's an early 60s vintage gun to which I added a heavy barrel. It really does balance a whole lot better than that old 4" pencil barrel and I much prefer it. I got the heavy barrel when the forcing cone split on the old pencil barrel, but it was a good addition regardless. Both barrels shot under 2" at 25 yards and about the best I can do off sandbags at 25 yards with iron sights is 1", so the gun shoots almost as good as I do. Only my 4" Taurus 66 is slightly more accurate and I've had other medium frame 4" guns I've sold that couldn't touch it for accuracy.
