There shouldn't be any doubt in your mind by now that you got a very nice deal. Congratulations!
You know your amps as well I see!Someone will say MIM guns are just as good and how performance center is so swell but there is something special about a pinned and recessed Smith. A golden era never to come along again. Like a handwired Fender twin with factory jbl's. Craftsmanship with few expenses spared and no corners cut. Congrats. Be sure and pass it on to your progeny.
I just plopped down $450- on a Model 66 no dash pinned and recessed .357, is that too much?
Or has the value on these things gone up that much?
I'd be thrilled to get one for $500+ now.I paid $500 for a nice 66-1 in July of last year, your buy was even better than mine!
Let us know how it shoots for you.
Stay safe.
That’s why I didn’t waste thirty seconds deciding to buy it! I truly didn’t need it, but the condition and cost meant I had to have it.I'd be thrilled to get one for $500+ now.
Todd.
It's the kind of opportunity, once capitalized upon, even if I were I to find a conflict of space or funds.... SOMETHING would get turfed for the 66!That’s why I didn’t waste thirty seconds deciding to buy it! I truly didn’t need it, but the condition and cost meant I had to have it.
Stay safe.
