They may be crude and have heavy triggers, but for they're miles better than most anything else at their price point. The "for only $XXX more you can get a XXX" argument will never end. Look at it like buying a car. For "only" $14,000 you can buy a Ford Fiesta. But for "only" two thousand more you can buy a larger Focus. And for "only" three thousand more than that you can buy a mid-sized Ford Fusion. Not all of us have the luxury of buying at any price point, and if there's a family out there living below the poverty line and needing a gun I'd rather see them protected with a bottom-end Smith & Wesson if they can afford it than a Kel-Tec or Hi-Point.
