That Broomhandle is amazing.OK, I'll bite. I have posted these two many times in the past, but not in an actual safe queen thread. T-series Hi-Power, 68. It grades out at 99%. Never fired after leaving the factory. C-96 Broomie, 1913. Same condition. Inside of gun is gooped with cosmoline. Another 99% gun. Stock is matching. My avatar is another one, although it was fired 200 times by the gunwriter and seven times by me, just so I could say I fired it. And I see my &%#*@& puter is drunk again. Sorry. You can see some of the cosmoline oozing out next to the hammer in the upside down pic.
Years ago I took it down to Simpson's in Galesburg, and Mr. Simpson looked at it. He is known as a Luger expert and he most certainly is that, but he is equally knowledgeable about Broomies. He looked at my C-96 and told me that it looked to be unfired. I learned a lot about C-96s that day. And the first thing I learned was this; Don't store the pistol in the wooden shoulder stock, because if you do, and drop it , the stock will usually crack. Advice I have heeded. That Broomhandle is amazing.
Yes sir,Does that have an EWK shroud?
Stay safe.
I'll start...

(The wooden Hogue grip is a bit long for the short barrel, but it’s comfy to shoot. )
My DWs aren’t safe queens, but I will admit I don’t shoot them as much as I’d like to .
Stay safe

LOL...nice catch...no story, bought some once fired brass and found six of them in the bunch, thought they were cool so I loaded them with some wad cutters and have never shot them.Is there a story on those Spokane PD headstamped casings?
Who said the Queen couldn't come out and play...just not as much as some of the others...This thread makes me sad. Safe Queens want to come out and play too!
