NEW TO THE SITE: Thanks for acceptance.

I just bought a Sar. Arms KP-2 9 mm I've seen lots of reviews about the gun and vast majority of them are good. Any sar. arms owners out here?

bear, welcome to the site.... lots of good info and help here..... sorry i dont know squat about the Sar, but some one else will... good luck dirt

Welcome, and I too apologize, I never got around to buying an SAR.

Before I bought my Ruger, I was really looking at buying a B6 as it was $100 cheaper than it's Tanagfolio, EAA, Armscor, and CZ cousins... but it just did not fit my hand as nicely as the Witness, MAPP and CZ pistols.

I too have only heard good things about the Sarsilmaz pistols and I find the relationship between the CZ, Tangfolio, its clones, and its importers intriquing and confusing!

Keep us posted, who knows, maybe I will get curious and pick one up anyways!!

About 95% of the owners at CZforumsite have only good to say about them. There is a more concentrated ownership of the SAR guns there for answers. I had issues with my ST10 out of the box new. I attempted to resolve it but the customer service for EAA is on a scale of 0-10 some where like 0.5 and that is only because the woman answering the phone seems nice. It all goes downhill from there. I decided to fix mine myself and I did just that. There was no way I was sending it back in after I talked to their main gunsmith there. Incompetent business and communication skills all the way.
Otherwise the gun is really made well and tight. Everybody who owns SAR will always comment on how they seem like much higher dollar guns than what we paid for them. I can't comment on the accuracy of mine as I only got it running correctly a few days ago and haven't been back to the range to see what it can do.
If you do decide on another clone, look into the Canik offerings. Those have a lot more backing right now than the SAR guns. Cajun gun works even has aftermarket parts listed for them. I think the KP-2 is supposed to be a clone of a CZ clone so CZ parts may be "massaged" to work.

I'm guessing you mean K2P? I own an SAR B6P, and for the money it is one heck of a gun. My FFL didn't believe me when I told her what I paid for it.

B6p Compact here and absolutely love it. Bought it from a friend that didn't like it. He put about 100 rounds through it and I've now put about 400 through it. Not one single FTF!
More accurate than I am and easy enough to carry IWB in a deadeyeluke P-chip holster.

I ended up purchasing an SAR B6P full size a week or two ago. I've sent maybe 200 rounds through it with no issues. It is extremely accurate and it is definitely a great deal for the money. It's a gun that would go for $500-600 if it had a different name etched on the side.

You can pick one up for $241.00 That puts it in the range of a SCCY - price -wise, but more capacity and a better trigger.
