lol! talk with the clerk for 30 minutes about firearms and 2nd Amendment rights and how the 1911 won 2 WW’s and is the choice of Elite Operators all over the Galaxy…. Then picks out a G19! lol
Actually,he looks at the G19 and then says oooohh what’s that green Sig Sauer?

30 minutes later Ellen Ripley leaves with his brand new P226 Legion SAO RXP trying to rationalize spending $750 over the top and cursed to have the Legion as the benchmark for all future new gun buys.

It happens.

The APX is pretty nice. I dunno if it's on the roster but the Beretta Nano is a great pistol as well. It's very compact yet easy to shoot with the 8+1 mags.
AFAIK, the Nano has been replaced by the APX Carry. It's essentially the same guts in a different grip-frame, with the addition of a slide release lever, which the Nano didn't have.

Hard to go wrong with a G19 as a first pistol, as long as it fits your hand.

it hard to go wrong with any Glock, I just wish the @Ellen Ripley hurry up and get his G19 so we can finally conclude the longest “ Guy buys a Glock, for his 1st gun” Thread in THR history:)

Yesterday I snagged a used Glock 22C that came with a 9mm conversion barrel and a couple extra 9mm mags along with the .40s - for less than $450. Now, I understand the OP wants a 9mm, no argument here, but the ability to have three calibers in one pistol (could buy a 357 Sig barrel) might be a good idea if there's another panic and the 9 dries up. Can pop a 9mm barrel in a Glock 23 as well. Food for thought in case restrictions keep getting tighter. Not a bad idea to have options.
