Savage 12 LRPR 6mm Norma BR

Just purchased one this weekend. Did not go looking but a store nearby had one that had not moved and gave me a good deal.

i have looked around as to reloading and see rcbs is close to $150 for 2 die set. i am going to get some brass and see that around $90 for 100 norma or lapua.

the rifle is super heavy duty and looks great. anyone have any comments on this rifle.

I have an LRP in .260 remington and just got some loads worked up. I was amazed at how accurate this rifle is with the right loads. I got sub MOA at 100yds with 140gr remington core lokts and .240 in groups with handloads. Yes you read that right, sub 1/4 in groups with a factory rifle.

Guess there are not many who shoot this rifle. thanks for input - still got to get scope also. will be a couple of months for i am even ready to shoot.

Hope its a shooter but read this at 6mmbr. Some had group issues with splitting
groups. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/tag/savage/.. The cartidge overall is a great 500 yard catidge for sure.
