Savage 99 value

I owned just a few Savage 99’s .. I wish I had all of them back... Last I owned was a older 99 takedown in 250-3000 worn but in great mechanical shape ..In the early 90’s I picked up a 99E in 308 at a LGS the owner took on trade .. the whole gun was wrapped in camouflage duct tape ... I paid $85.00 for that carbine .. took me a week to get up the courage to attempt the tape removal .. then a week to get the sticky off .... ;-) ... It cleaned up good eventually.. I used “Goo be gone” , It was rebored to 358win ... and eventually sold online for a fat profit... but it would bring a bunch more today ..
