as rare as that is. was at a house where cops were called to haul off an outa control resident. he was drunk and outa his mind. 23 just outa marines in shape, at least physically.there were 4 cops there first one asked the golden question "any weapons in the house?" answer was yes "we got more guns in here than you have in your cars" they got more alert cop informed told the others. no one got all loud no one touched their weapon they just made sure the kid didn't leave the room. they handled him with no struggle and didn't express anymore interest in the guns. other than make sure he didn't try to get to any. nice low key professional job by the spotsylnania county sheriffs dept. for a few seconds i thought the kid was gonna commit suicide by cop. he was thinking bout it but they handled him just right. and EVERYBODY went home safe.

sad commentary on our society that you felt the need to post this. :( But good job, well done to the LEOs in this situation.

PLease write a letter praising the Officers for PROFESSIONAL conduct. Consider sending a more (general) letter to local paper. (none of the details) Just the dept name and Officers (if known) and a thank you for their Professional conduct.
We need to complain when folks do wrong and praise when they do good. It is amazing how funny folks act when you take time to compliment above average service.
I was in a (store) and the person working shoe area got me 2 pair of one style of shoe. (neither felt right) she suggested another style and got two pair (also not comfortable) then got me some more. (basicly all were too narrow) I thanked her for her time and she was so nice and also finding shoes for many other people (samples of styles only on floor) So I found manager and told them what a good job she was doing and how nice. They were STUNNED anyone would bother to not complain. Seems she got a $10 store gift card. (yes I went back few weeks later)
