scope recommendation

hi flexible here; I have a S&W model 15 that is great for 50 & 100 yards but my range also has a 300 yard area.
thinking of a Savage #12 Long Range Precision in 6.5 Creedmore.
what scope would anyone recommend?
BTW I'm 68 so the eye sight needs all the help I can get.

If your budget allows a Nightforce is the "standard" for long range precision shooting.

If your budget is tight, as a new to 300+ yard shooter, I've a Primary Arms R-Gird 4-14x44 FFP scope on my .308 RPR and its been fantastic, especially considering the price.

They are out of stock on this one at the moment, but they have similar models with different reticles available.
